Logistics is a critical aspect of the supply chain for Allied Bindery customers. Since our bindery and finishing solutions are often the final stage of print production, our customers increasingly rely upon us to provide efficient storage, management and delivery of their products.
These services ensure that books, catalogs, magazines, educational materials, calendars and other bound products reach their intended destinations in a timely and organized manner. These are the different kinds of logistics services we offer:
- Warehousing and Storage Services: We provide the secure storage of print products in our warehouse until they are ready to be shipped to our customers or end users. Our warehouse space includes significant racking storage and we maintain inventory through our enterprise-wide information system.
- Fulfillment Services: Allied Bindery can fulfill customer orders on demand from our inventory control system. This includes packing bound print products securely, preparing the necessary documentation and help to schedule the shipment.
- Drop shipping Services: With our drop shipping services, customers can provide Allied Bindery with a distribution list and we will break down the order and pack it securely for shipment by FedEx, UPS or LTL carrier.
- Bulk Distribution Services: For larger quantities, we provide pickup and delivery services with our own truck for local customers and we have shipping partners that can be contracted for longer distances and large shipments.
